How to use

Make the patient sit upright with chin in the extension position. Separate front and back halves of the collar. Front half be placed in front of the neck with the chin comfortably resting on the chin cup of the collar. The back half be brought from the back and let it telescope over the front half. Fasten hook to loop tape for a perfectly immobilized neck.

Construction

Moulded out of linear cross linked polyethylene foam which has a very dense cell structure which imparts strength and rigidity to the soft cushiony matrix. It is highly inert , odorless , non absorbent and hypoallergenic in nature.

The frontal and the rear splints are anatomically designed to support the neck, limit the flexion and extension movement of cervical spine and provide a very effective immobilization of the area.

Pre moulded chin and the balloon design gives only a rim contact to the body without involving the neck surface, which ensures rigid immobilization on one hand and complete comfort to the other. Two piece designs with an inbuilt chin rest also helps in better immobilization.
